Angelia Sciulli is a freelance cinematographer and camera operator based in Los Angeles, California. She is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) Local 600 (IATSE), an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC), and a member of the International Collective of Female Plus Cinematographers (ICF+C). In 2021, she was a recipient of the ASC Vision Mentorship Program. Angelia is currently developing a documentary on the student loan debt crisis titled, MONEY TALKS: THE PRICE OF AN EDUCATION. She has recently worked as B-cam operator for the LA unit of the Netflix show, BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR, under the incredible DP Celiana Cárdenas, AMC. She has also worked as a camera operator for season 2 of Netflix’s DATING AROUND (season 2) and MTV’s SIESTA KEY (season 2). Angelia also operated on the Indie-feature, WHAT LIES WEST, where she was credited as 2nd-Unit DP. She has lensed numerous narrative shorts, including CHERRY LEMONADE, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. A graduate of AFI, Angelia earned her MFA in cinematography and is knowledgable in film (8mm/16mm/35mm) and digital formats.
She is open to both union and non-union projects, and is willing to travel.
Angelia invests her time in visually capturing the emotional heartbeat of the story and enjoys collaborating with an array of talented filmmakers with unique, artistic visions.
